Judge's Comments: "There was one cow earlier that I called the definition of the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary and she is your senior champion, the aged cow. And then it boils down between the 4-year-old and 125,000-lb cow for me. And like I said, I am partial to 125,000-lb cows, but the cow who is on the money today is the 4-year-old and she will be the reserve. Three great cows...please give these exhibitors a round of applause."
Grand Champion - Quality-Ridge Stormi Hazel, 1st Aged Cow, The Hazel Syndicate, Preston, CT
Res. Grand Champion - Boiled-Owl Dundee Jenny, 1st 4-year-old, Co-Vale Holsteins, Aaron Eaton and Lloyd & Denise Pease, Preble , NY
Best Bred & Owned of the Show - Windy-Knoll-View Pledge-ET, 1st 125,000-lb. Cow, James & Nina Burdette, Mercersburg, PA
Judge's Comments: "I am certainly proud of the animals out here. I know the state of New York should be proud of what they've accomplished and the type of cattle this show has attracted. At this point in my life, this is the best quality of cattle I've ever had the chance to judge. For my grand champion, and its very special that I had the opportunity to judge her, it will be the senior champion. Following her for reserve will be the reserve senior champion."
